Swiss Chard Soup – Sicilian Style

  • 1  bunch  Swiss chard  chopped up
  • 4-6  tbsp  nutritional yeast 
  • 1  tbsp  red chili flakes 
  •     salt  to taste
  •     olive oil  optional


Cook the Swiss chard over medium heat in a large pot with water. The water should only come halfway up the pot and not cover the Swiss chard. Cook until al dente which will be approximately 10 minutes. Top with nutritional yeast, chili, salt and olive oil if using.
